An algebraic structure for Faber polynomials
Let \(\Sigma= \big\{f(z): f(z)+ z+\sum^\infty_{n=0} a_n z^{-n},|z|> 1\big\}\). The Faber polynomials \(F_n(t)\) associated to \(f\) are defined by the relation \[ {f'(z)\over f(z)- t}= \sum^\infty_{n=0} F_n(t)z^{-(n+1)}. \] It is known that they appear in various problems concerning univalent functions.

Exploring the Impacts of Spatial Contexts on the Life Course Trajectory Status of Vulnerability
ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to investigate in what ways the spatial context matters for the life course trajectory status in terms of vulnerability. In particular, it explores the impacts of spatial contexts aggregated from life course trajectories.

ABSTRACT In this study, we aim to investigate the contribution of various sources of variability, environmental, spatial and interannual on the larval fish assemblages (LFA) in summer off the Catalan coast, an area with a wide array of environmental conditions.

Large linear manifolds of non-continuable boundary-regular holomorphic functions [PDF]
We prove in this paper that if G is a domain in the complex plane satisfying adequate topological or geometrical conditions then there exists a large (dense or closed infinite-dimensional) linear submanifold of boundary-regular holomorphic functions on G

Tautological relations via r-spin structures
Relations among tautological classes on the moduli space of stable curves are obtained via the study of Witten's r-spin theory for higher r. In order to calculate the quantum product, a new formula relating the r-spin correlators in genus 0 to the ...

Faber's socle intersection numbers via Gromov–Witten theory of elliptic curve
Abstract The goal of this very short note is to give a new proof of Faber's formula for the socle intersection numbers in the tautological ring of Mg$\mathcal {M}_g$. This new proof exhibits a new beautiful tautological relation that stems from the recent work of Oberdieck–Pixton on the Gromov–Witten theory of the elliptic curve via a refinement of ...

Dirichlet space of multiply connected domains with Weil-Petersson class boundaries [PDF]
The restricted class of quasicircles sometimes called the "Weil-Petersson-class" has been a subject of interest in the last decade. In this paper we establish a Sokhotski-Plemelj jump formula for WP-class quasicircles, for boundary data in a certain ...

How Should We Treat Farmed Animals? Adolescents Are More Speciesist Than Adults
ABSTRACT Adults engage in psychological processes (including species‐based categorisation and post‐hoc reasoning) that result in ascribing high moral value to some animals while eating others. Do adolescents engage in similar processes? We compared adolescents’ (n = 89, M age = 13.54) and adults’ (n = 113, M age = 43.73) views on four measurements ...

Parallelization of Faber Polynomial Based Propagators for Laser Applications
ABSTRACT In order to simulate a laser system, the evaluation of a complex semilinear master equation is needed, including the description of the wave propagation by Maxwell's equations and appropriate rate equations. The denser the spatial discretization, the slower the computation time of the time‐dependent propagator.
