Multiplexed holographic Fabry-Perot étalons
Applied Optics, 1992We discuss a multiplexed holographic Fabry-Perot étalon that includes a multiplexed hologram in a novel holographic Fabry-Perot étalon. Two unique advantages can be achieved by using the multiplexed holographic Fabry-Perot étalon: coherently coupled fabrication of holographic Fabry-Perot mirrors significantly reduces the need to have the nearly flat ...

A Polarization Fabry-Perot Duochromator
Applied Optics, 1970A two-channel Fabry-Perot interferometer for the measurement of very small displacements of spectral lines has been constructed. Advantage is taken both of the superior throughput and resolution of the Fabry-Perot. The two-channel operation is produced by the use of two concentric polarizers and a rotating analyzer.

Feedback Stabilized Fabry-Perot Interferometer
Applied Optics, 1973A method of stabilizing a Fabry-Perot interferometer with respect to a reference wavelength, while simultaneously stabilizing the parallelism of the flats, is described. The method consists of creating correcting signals proportional to the displacement of the fringe maxima of three auxiliary spectral sources with respect to a fixed reference point and

Optical fiber Fabry-Perot sensors
Applied Optics, 1988A new optical fiber Fabry-Perot (F.P.) temperature sensor is proposed and demonstrated. In particular, it can discern the temperature rise from the temperature drop. With this sensor, the temperature change and the direction of temperature change can be determined as a function of time. The basic concept has been verified experimentally. The results of

Intensity transmitted by a Fabry-Perot etalon with another internal Fabry-Perot interferometer
Applied Optics, 1981The intensity transmitted by a device made up of a F.P. etalon that contains another internal tunable F.P. has been studied. The theoretical predictions about the wavelengths of the intensity transmission maxima of the device are derived as functions of the optical path length of the internal F.P. An experimental check of the theoretical predictions is

A truly monopolar GaAs Fabry–Perot cavity Gunn laser is demonstrated. The device is grown by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition on a semi-insulating GaAs substrate and consists of an n=4.6×1017cm−3 doped GaAs active layer sandwiched between the AlxGa1−xAs(x=0.32) waveguiding layers.

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1964
A dilatometer based upon the principle of the Fabry-Perot interferometer is described. The device is capable of measuring displacements as small as 10−7 cm or less. The measurements are made directly in terms of the wavelength of a spectral line such as the green line of 198Hg.

The Atomic Fabry-Perot Interferometer
2002Since the realisation in 1995 of an atomic Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC), atom optics has began to take advantage of the remarkable properties of such a coherent matter wave: indeed, the large number of atoms sharing the same quantum state can be described as a classical C-number matter wave.
