Block Defocused Spherical Fabry-Perot Interferometer

Applied Optics, 1973
A solid Fabry-Perot interferometer with a quasi-confocal resonator has been constructed. The essential characteristics of this interferometer are discussed in relation to its advantages for spectral analysis. These advantages include high resolving power (>10(7)) with satisfactory instrumental finesse (>30) in static mode.

Multiplex Fabry–Perot interferometer: I Theory

Applied Optics, 1995
The Multiplex Fabry-Perot Interferometer (MFPI) is a unique instrument, incorporating the wide spectral-bandwidth capability of the Michelson interferometer with the small size and high resolution of the Fabry-Perot interferometer. The MFPI is, structurally, a standard Fabry-Perot in which the scanning distance is allowed to be very large, of the order

Chirped fiber tip Fabry–Perot interferometer

Optics Letters, 2017
We demonstrate a novel fiber tip Fabry-Perot (FP) interferometer with a chirped spectral characteristic. The FP interferometer is formed by an etched chirped fiber Bragg grating (FBG) and the fiber tip broadband end-face mirror, and the etched chirped FBG is prepared by a dynamic chemical etching process, shaping the taper and reducing the size from ...

Fabry-Perot interferometers with three mirrors

Applied Optics, 1986
The properties of two-mirror Fabry-Perot interferometers can be improved by adding one or more partially reflecting mirrors. In this paper we show how three-mirror Fabry-Perot interferometers provide better control on the shape of the transmission band, the bandwidth, and the suppression of sidebands. We present measurements on three-mirror Fabry-Perot

Hybrid Fiber Fabry–Perot Interferometer With Improved Refractometric Response

Journal of Lightwave Technology, 2019
The reflectance of a hybrid fiber Fabry–Perot interferometer modulated by the Fresnel reflection at the fiber tip was used to assess the refractive index (RI) of liquid samples.
