A dual‐gated nanophotonic platform integrates lanthanide‐doped upconversion nanoparticles with a stimuli‐responsive silk–zirconia photonic crystal to enable multilevel optical encryption. Resonant photonic coupling allows hydration‐dependent modulation of visible emission under near‐infrared excitation, achieving reversible switching between decoy and ...

Occurrence of Infusion Associated Reactions and Antidrug Antibodies in Enzyme Replacement Therapy for Fabry Disease and the Effect of Preventive Measures. [PDF]
Occurrence of infusion associated reactions and anti‐drug antibodies in enzyme replacement therapy for Fabry disease and the effect of preventive measures. ABSTRACT Male patients with the classical phenotype of Fabry disease (FD) are at risk of developing inhibiting antidrug antibodies (iADAs) against recombinant α‐galactosidase‐A, administered in the ...

Pulmonary involvement in Fabry disease
Pulmonary involvement in Fabry disease has received less attention than the effects of the disease on the kidneys, nervous system or heart. However, data from FOS -the Fabry Outcome Survey - are now helping to elucidate the pulmonary manifestations of ...

Tunable, High Pulse Energy and Narrow Linewidth Gas‐Filled Fiber Laser Across Near‐ and Mid‐Infrared
A cascaded gas‐filled anti‐resonant hollow‐core fiber architecture enables broadly tunable infrared Raman lasers spanning ∼1.4–4.6 µm while maintaining microjoule‐level pulse energies and gigahertz‐level linewidths. The approach combines a wavelength‐tunable pump laser with optimized Raman frequency conversion, providing a compact route to high ...

Room‐temperature lower‐polariton‐like lasing is realized in an InGaN/GaN thin‐film ridge cavity with lateral distributed Bragg reflectors. Near‐field optical microscopy distinguishes the transverse side‐DBR‐confined mode from a longitudinal photon‐like mode, while simulations reproduce their spatial profiles.

Intensity Noise Dynamics in Terahertz Quantum Cascade Lasers
Intensity‐noise dynamics in terahertz quantum cascade lasers are investigated across single‐mode, dense‐comb and harmonic‐comb regimes using graphene thermoelectric detectors. Harmonic combs show ∼10% lower relative intensity noise, while RIN scales as P0−γ$P_0^{ - \gamma }$ with γ≈1.2$\gamma \approx 1.2$, revealing a crossover from spontaneous ...

Background/Objectives: Fabry disease is an X-linked lysosomal storage disease. Earlier studies have mentioned dizziness/balance issues and vestibular involvement as a symptom of Fabry disease. Research on the matter remains scarce. This pilot study aims to show the prevalence of dizziness/balance issues and whether it is due to peripheral, central, or ...

Background Fabry disease (FD) is a rare, progressive disorder caused by pathogenic variants of the GLA gene resulting in the accumulation of toxic metabolites. Pain is a hallmark of FD, and patients often present with heterogeneous pain profiles.
