We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Tightly-Coupled Data Compression for Efficient Face Alignment
Face alignment is the key component for applications such as face and expression recognition, face based AR (Augmented Reality), etc. Among all the algorithms, cascaded-regression based methods have become popular in recent years for their low ...

Face alignment based on fusion subspace and 3D fitting
The traditional face alignment approaches based on cascade regression have achieved satisfactory result on the frontal face, but for the face with large changes in posture and expression, a single initial shape will lead to the result falling into local ...

Pose-Invariant 3D Face Alignment [PDF]
Face alignment aims to estimate the locations of a set of landmarks for a given image. This problem has received much attention as evidenced by the recent advancement in both the methodology and performance. However, most of the existing works neither explicitly handle face images with arbitrary poses, nor perform large-scale experiments on non-frontal

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Shortcut-Upsampling Block for 3D Face Reconstruction and Dense Alignment via Position Map
Joint 3D face reconstruction and dense alignment based on a single image has always been a challenge in computer vision. Recently, some work achieves these two goals simultaneously by adopting the position map to represent a 3D face.
