A review of skin microbiome and new challenges to cosmetic microbiome‐friendly formulations

Microbiome‐friendly concepts offer new perspectives for a healthy relationship between cosmetic use and the skin microbiome, especially the interaction of non‐biotic cosmetic ingredients with the skin, requiring further studies to clarify the dynamics between the skin microbiome and different classes of cosmetic ingredients.

A serum and cream moisturization regimen outperforms separate use in sustaining hydration, reducing TEWL, and balancing surface lipids over an 8‐h study

Over 8 h, using a Hyaluronic Acid Serum in combination with a Moisturizing Cream sustained skin hydration more than either product alone, while lowering TEWL and normalizing surface lipids. Tinea Faciei - Hypo Diagnosed Facial Dermatoses

Results. Six hundreds patients with dermatophytosis were diagnosed over a time period of twenty months (Jun 2007 – January 2009). The Tinea faciei patients represented 2.2% (13) of all patients with dermatophytosis. Practical recommendations for seborrheic dermatitis management: An expert consensus

This modified Delphi study established expert consensus on Seborrheic Dermatitis management. Key findings prioritize combined topical antifungal and anti‐inflammatory therapy for both acute flares and long‐term maintenance. The consensus also provides a clear framework for escalating to systemic treatment in extensive or refractory cases.
