Power system damping using fuzzy controlled FACTS devices
This paper presents a new approach to the implementation of the effect of FACTS devices on damping local modes and inter-area modes of oscillations based on a simple fuzzy logic proportional plus conventional integral controller in a multi-machine power system. The proposed controller uses a combination of a FLC and a PI controller.

A conductive material where the conductivity can be modulated remotely by irradiation with light is presented.
