On the Capacity of Fading MIMO Broadcast Channels with Imperfect Transmitter Side-Information [PDF]
A fading broadcast channel is considered where the transmitter employs two antennas and each of the two receivers employs a single receive antenna. It is demonstrated that even if the realization of the fading is precisely known to the receivers, the high signal-to-noise (SNR) throughput is greatly reduced if, rather than knowing the fading realization

Chronic TGF‐β exposure drives epithelial HCC cells from a senescent state to a TGF‐β resistant mesenchymal phenotype. This transition is characterized by the loss of Smad3‐mediated signaling, escape from senescence, enhanced invasiveness and metastatic potential, and upregulation of key resistance modulators such as MARK1 and GRM8, ultimately promoting

Repeat Accumulate Based Designs for LDPC Codes on Fading Channels [PDF]
Irregular repeat-accumulate Root-Check LDPC codes based on Progressive Edge Growth (PEG) techniques for block-fading channels are proposed. The proposed Root-Check LDPC codes are {both suitable for channels under $F = 2, 3$ independent fadings per codeword and} for fast fading channels.

Dual targeting of AKT and mTOR using MK2206 and RAD001 reduces tumor burden in an intracardiac colon cancer circulating tumor cell xenotransplantation model. Analysis of AKT isoform‐specific knockdowns in CTC‐MCC‐41 reveals differentially regulated proteins and phospho‐proteins by liquid chromatography coupled mass spectrometry. Circulating tumor cells

Performance evaluation of energy detector over generalized non-linear and shadowed composite fading channels using a Mixture Gamma Distribution [PDF]
The performance of energy detection (ED) for independent and identically distribution (i.i.d.) signal models is analyzed over generalized composite non-linear line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) shadowed fading scenarios. The novel expressions for {\alpha}-\k{appa}-{\mu}/Gamma and {\alpha}-{\eta}-{\mu}/Gamma fading channels have been ...

Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.

Approximate Capacity of Fast Fading Interference Channels with No Instantaneous CSIT [PDF]
We develop a characterization of fading models, which assigns a number called logarithmic Jensen's gap to a given fading model. We show that as a consequence of a finite logarithmic Jensen's gap, approximate capacity region can be obtained for fast fading interference channels (FF-IC) for several scenarios.

We provide a step‐by‐step guide for producing E140 antigen fragments from Plasmodium berghei (Pb1) and Plasmodium vivax (Pv1). Pb1/Pv1 are expressed in E. coli, solubilized by freeze–thawing, refolded by slow dilution, purified by affinity chromatography (IMAC), then concentrated and subjected to quality control.

Brain magnetic resonance imaging predictors in anti‐N‐methyl‐D‐aspartate receptor encephalitis
Abstract Objective Brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings in anti‐N‐methyl‐D‐aspartate receptor (NMDAR) encephalitis are nonspecific and rarely have obvious associations with clinical characteristics and outcomes. This study aimed to comprehensively describe the MRI features of patients with NMDAR encephalitis, examine their associations with ...
