Performance Evaluation of CDMA - MIMO (STBC) System over Rayleigh Fading Channel for Image Transmission

open access: yesJournal of Electrical, Electronics and Informatics, 2017
Data transmission via wireless communication system is not only in text form but it also can be in image form. In the process of sending data or information, it often experiences interference in transmission media, which is fading.

Design of Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor (OVSF) Performance Simulation Program in Multipath Fading Channels

open access: yesJournal of Electrical, Electronics and Informatics, 2020
The characteristics of wireless channel are determined by multipath propagation. The transmitted signal will be scattered so that it produces fading. Fading influenced by multipath component will cause delay spread which damages the signal.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Temporal and spatial factors in the fading of diffuse visual images [PDF]

open access: yesPerception & Psychophysics, 1968
Pattern vision breaks down after a period of inspecting a diffusely contoured dark figure upon a ground of uniform brightness and texture. When the field is illuminated with flickering light it is found that the persistence of pattern vision is inversely related to flicker frequency up to the region of fusion. At low flicker frequencies complex figures

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Performance analysis of massive MIMO uplink with channel aging in high-speed mobile scenario

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2017
Achievable sum rate was investigated for the massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) uplink system with channel aging in the high-speed mobile scenario, and the effect of both channel aging and the Ricean factor on the power scaling law was ...

General Switch-and-Stay Combing for Space Diversity over Rayleigh Fading Channels

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2012
Three multibranch switch-and-stay combining (MSSC) schemes are analyzed for Rayleigh fading channels, where different decision statistics for antenna switching (i.e., switch statistic) are used.

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

An Elevation-Aware Large-Scale Channel Model for UAV Air-to-Ground Links

open access: yesMathematics
This paper addresses the issue of existing research that fails adequately capture the spatiotemporal nonstationarity caused by the building of occlusion and flight dynamics in air-to-ground channels from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in urban scenarios.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.
