Dynamic, Reconfigurable, and Hierarchical Biosynthetic Composites via Collagen Self‐Assembly within Highly Crowded Microgel Pastes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A new approach to extracellular matrix‐mimetic, hierarchical biomaterials is presented. Soft gels composed of overpacked hydrogel microparticle arrays present a biomolecularly crowded environment permissive to the self‐assembly of collagen networks.

Analysis of False Data Injection in Vehicle Platooning

open access: yes, 2014
Automated vehicles promise to be one of the most constructive inventions of late as they promote road safety, fuel efficiency, and reduced time road travel, by decreasing traffic congestion and workload on the driver. In a platoon (which is a method of grouping vehicles, which helps increase the capacity of roads by managing the distance between ...

A Microfluidic Multiplex Sorter for Strain Development

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 6, March 18, 2025.
A new multiplex method for high‐throughput screening of yeast strains based on glucoamylase production is presented. Droplets containing single mutant yeast cells are incubated for enzyme production. A sorting platform divides mutants by their high‐ and mid‐activity levels.

Unveiling Complementary Unipolar Electrical Transport in ZnO‐Co3O4 Core–Shell Nanowires Exploiting Iontronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Complementary unipolar electrical transport is demonstrated in ZnO‐Co3O4 core–shell nanowires, by engineering multi‐terminal device architectures that allow to selectively address different sections of the nanostructure and resorting on ionic liquid gating for conformal capacitive coupling and field effect control.
