LATE DEVONIAN CONODONTS FROM THE HOJEDK SECTION, KERMAN PROVINCE, SOUTHEASTERN IRAN

open access: yesRivista Italiana di Paleontologia e Stratigrafia, 2008
Conodonts (34 species and subspecies) from the Hojedk section north of Kerman span the late Givetian to early Famennian. The new data suggest that Devonian biostromes in central and eastern Iran were deposited on differing levels, and that the currently ...

Late Famennian Stromatoporoids from Dębnik Anticline, Southern Poland [PDF]

open access: yesActa Palaeontologica Polonica, 2009
Famennian Stromatoporoidea from the Quasiendothyra communis Foraminiferal Zone and slightly younger strata from the Debnik anticline, southern Poland, form a succession of three consecutive assemblages. Assemblages 1 and 3 consist of representatives of the order Clathrodictyida, while assemblage 2 is dominated by the order Labechiida.

ABOUT STRATIFICATION FAMENNIAN DEPOSITS SOUTH TIMAN

open access: yesOil and Gas Business, 2015
First Izhma Suite was selected for the South Timan in 1930 N. N. Tikhonovich in the study of oil deposits of the upper Devonian. Part of this Suite, they had included a wide range of rocks exposed on the right Bank of the r. Izhma. Later D. C. Obruchev (1958) as part of the Suite rocks have been identified the remains of testaceous fish Bothriolepis ...

Upper Frasnian and Lower Famennian (Upper Devonian) conodonts of the Compte section (Spanish Central Pyrenees)

open access: yes
Through the study of conodonts, strata around the Frasnian–Famennian boundary in the Compte section were analyzed in detail. Twenty-four samples in a 12 m thick sequence yielded 13 species of conodonts belonging to Ancyrodella, Ancyrognathus, Icriodus ...
