Magnetic field induced nutation of the exciton-polariton polarization in (Cd,Zn)Te crystals
We study the polarization dynamics of exciton-polaritons propagating in sub-mm thick (Cd,Zn)Te bulk crystals using polarimetric time-of-flight techniques.

Features of collisionless turbulence in the intracluster medium from simulated Faraday Rotation maps [PDF]
Observations of the intracluster medium (ICM) in galaxy clusters suggest for the presence of turbulence and the magnetic fields existence has been proved through observations of Faraday Rotation and synchrotron emission.

Optical Frequency Comb Faraday Rotation Spectroscopy [PDF]
We demonstrate optical frequency comb Faraday rotation spectroscopy (OFC-FRS) for broadband interference-free detection of paramagnetic species. The system is based on a femtosecond doubly resonant optical parametric oscillator and a fast-scanning Fourier transform spectrometer (FTS).

The opto‐electronic response of polycrystalline (PEA)2PbBr4 thin films is investigated by correlating macroscopic photodetector performance with nanoscale mapping techniques. Grain boundary density is systematically tuned through crystallization control and linked to device responsivity.

Growth Parameters of Fully Crystallized YIG, Bi:YIG, and Ce:YIG Films With High Faraday Rotations
We report on the growth of thin films of yttrium iron garnet (YIG) on dielectric substrates. Such films have historically been challenging to grow due to either cracking or incomplete crystallization of the films.

Chiral filtration and Faraday rotation in multi-Weyl semimetals
The Maxwell equations in Weyl semimetals (WSMs) with broken inversion and time-reversal symmetries are modified by the presence of the axion terms b and b0 where, for a simple two-node model, 2ℏb is the vector that connects the two nodes in momentum ...

Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.

Electroless plated maghemite for three-dimensional magneto photonic crystals
Three-dimensional magneto photonic crystals (3D-MPCs) are promising material for manipulating light in 3D space. In this study, we fabricated 3D-MPC that is filling the air-gap of opal photonic crystal with magnetic material by electroless plating.

A Perspective on the Applications of Triphasic Gas Storage in Electrochemical Systems
Gas storage in microporous materials positioned locally at an electrode or electrocatalyst surface enhances electrochemical processes. Abstract Microporous materials store gases under dry conditions (e.g., hydrogen or oxygen via physisorption), but in some cases microporous materials also show triphasic (e.g., in a solid|gas|liquid system) gas storage ...
