Aggregation promotes charge separation in fullerene-indacenodithiophene dyad
Fast photoinduced charge separation (CS) and long-lived charge-separated state (CSS) in small-molecules facilitate light-energy conversion, while simultaneous attainment of both remains challenging.

Packaging of Macroscopic Material Payloads: Needs, Challenges, Concepts, and Future Directions
This review introduces a unified framework that decomposes any macroscopic packaging system into the payload, packaging material, and packaging strategy and combines them into a conceptual packaging equation: packaging strategy = payload + packaging material.

Envelope Dynamics and Stability with non-linear Space-Charge Forces
We developed a model to calculate the stability of Gaussian beam distributions with non-linear space-charge forces in the presence of random and skew-quadrupole errors.

Application of Raman and Photoluminescence Spectroscopy to MgO‐C Refractories
Visible to near infrared luminescence of MgO is studied on MgO‐C bricks and nominally pure MgO powder, with focus on two similar sharp high‐intensity signals, at 699 and 871 nm, each surrounded by symmetrical sidebands. The nature of these sidebands is investigated by temperature‐dependent spectroscopic measurements, confirming phonon involvement by ...

Charge sensing in carbon nanotube quantum dots on microsecond timescales
We report fast, simultaneous charge sensing and transport measurements of gate-defined carbon nanotube quantum dots. Aluminum radio frequency single electron transistors (rf-SETs) capacitively coupled to the nanotube dot provide single-electron charge ...

A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.

Optical conductivity in the CuO double chains of PrBa_2Cu_4O_8: Consequences of charge fluctuation
We calculate the optical conductivity of the CuO double chains of PrBa$_2$Cu$_4$O$_8$ by the mean-field approximation for the coupled two-chain Hubbard model around quarter filling.
