Lifecycle Evaluation of Lithium-Ion Batteries Under Fast Charging and Discharging Conditions
By employing electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, we performed an impedance analysis of three commercial Li-ion Panasonic NCR18650B cells in order to investigate the direct effects of their internal impedance on the operating voltage, rate capability,

Charge injection instability in perfect insulators
We show that in a macroscopic perfect insulator, charge injection at a field-enhancing defect is associated with an instability of the insulating state or with bistability of the insulating and the charged state.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Age‐Related Characteristics of SYT1‐Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder
ABSTRACT Objectives We describe the clinical manifestations and developmental abilities of individuals with SYT1‐associated neurodevelopmental disorder (Baker‐Gordon syndrome) from infancy to adulthood. We further describe the neuroradiological and electrophysiological characteristics of the condition at different ages, and explore the associations ...

Fast electronic resistance switching involving hidden charge density wave states
The control of a material's state via external stimuli is the basis of modern information storage technology. Here, the authors use pulsed currents to induce fast switching between Mott insulator and metallic states in the charge density wave system 1T ...

Refractory Status Epilepticus Treated With Bilateral Pulvinar Deep Brain Stimulation—A Case Study
ABSTRACT New‐onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE) arises without an identifiable cause or prior epilepsy history, with a 16%–27% mortality rate and significant long‐term neurological sequelae. Neuromodulation such as deep brain stimulation (DBS) targeting the anterior and centromedian thalamic nuclei has shown promise when the traditional ...

Agent-Based Investigation of Competing Charge Point Operators for Battery Electric Trucks
This paper investigates the competition between two charge point operators at the same site for future battery electric long-haul trucks. The charge point operators are located along one of the busiest highways in Sweden. The investigation is carried out

An evaluation method of Li-ion batteries state of charge based on IRVM and verified by simulation
Aiming at the problems of low multi-step prediction accuracy and poor online prediction adaptability for the algorithm of relevance vector machine,an improved incremental relevance vector machine model is proposed to predict the state-of-charge of Li-ion

Single-shot readout of electron spin states in a quantum dot using spin-dependent tunnel rates
We present a method for reading out the spin state of electrons in a quantum dot that is robust against charge noise and can be used even when the electron temperature exceeds the energy splitting between the states.
