Nuclear Instruments and Methods, 1978Abstract Amplifier input circuitry response to a sequence of Gaussian pulses of charge is investigated in detail. A solution of the differential equation for the charge Q valid for all time, and approximate solutions valid in the long time limit, are presented and discussed.
