Defect Driven Electronic Structure Reconfiguration and Hierarchical Phonon Suppression in Ag2Se Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Indium substitution in Ag2Se nanocrystals simultaneously tailors electronic structure and lattice dynamics. Fermi‐level upshift and band‐gap narrowing enhance electrical transport, while defect‐induced lattice softening intensifies phonon scattering and suppresses lattice thermal conductivity.

Silicon‐Embedded Multifunctional Heterogeneous Integration for Miniaturized Photoplethysmography Detection Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The multifunctional integration of chips with high flexibility and scalable manufacturing is crucial for enhancing chip performance, reducing chip size, and simplifying chip design. However, balancing volume, cost, flexibility, and functionality using traditional heterogeneous integration methods is challenging.

Linear Bijections And The Fast Fourier Transform

open access: yes, 1994
. Fast Fourier transform algorithms rely upon the choice of certain bijective mappings between the indices of the data arrays. The two basic mappings used in the literature lead to Cooley--Tukey algorithms or to prime factor algorithms.

A High‐Throughput Live Imaging Platform to Investigate Circuit‐Dependent Regulation of Circadian Rhythms in Brain Tissue

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biological rhythms coordinate physiology, from genes to behavior. Study of circadian rhythms in brain tissue is constrained by limited throughput and spatial and temporal information quality. A new platform for high‐throughput, long‐term multiplexed fluorescent live imaging of circadian rhythms in brain slices is introduced.

Modeling Inflation Using a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT)

open access: yes
This paper utilizes a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm to construct a trigonometric interpolant for the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which is then differentiated and used to obtain a continuous function for “instantaneous” (i.e., month-wise ...
