ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVITY OF ALUMINUM ALLOYS DEPENDING ON FAST NEUTRON FLUENCE

open access: yesPHYSICAL AND MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES, 2020
The nonlinear dependence of the resistivity on the dose and temperature was determined. On the basis of X-ray structure of the alloy is shown that the alloy SAV-1 is a solid solution in which the average static mixing of atoms in order of magnitude compared with their dynamic displacements caused by thermal motion.

Study of Fiber Bragg Grating Samples Exposed to High Fast Neutron Fluences [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 2018
Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors are expected to provide valuable data in extreme radiation environments associated with nuclear research reactors. However, when the fast neutron fluence reaches 1018–1019 n/cm2, the radiation-induced changes in the material density and refractive index may drastically bias the measurements.
