Optimized fast Walsh-Hadamard transform on OpenCL-GPU and OpenCL-CPU
2016 Sixth International Conference on Image Processing Theory, Tools and Applications (IPTA), 2016The Walsh-Hadamard transform plays a major role in many image and video coding algorithms. In one hand, its intensive use in these algorithms makes its acceleration a challenge, in order to speed-up the algorithm execution. On the other hand, the available fast implementations are not efficient across different platforms. In this work, a parallel-based

Adaptive filtering using the fast Walsh-Hadamard transformation
IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 1989A fast implementation of the least-mean-square error (LMS) adaptive transversal filter is proposed. The fast Walsh-Hadamard transform technique is adopted in this implementation. This filter is shown to promise a significant reduction in computation over both the conventional time-domain and the frequency-domain LMS adaptive filters. >

Architecture of the fast Walsh-Hadamard and fast Fourier transforms with charge transfer devices
International Journal of Electronics, 1981This paper presents a novel approach for charge transfer device (CTD) implementation of the fast Walsh-Hadamard and fast Fourier transforms. This is achieved by first expressing the Hadamard matrix as a power of a matrix, which allows for efficient CTD implementation. These results are then used in CTD implementation of fast Fourier transforms.

2010 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMMUNICATION CONTROL AND COMPUTING TECHNOLOGIES, 2010
A lot of image registration techniques have been developed with great significance for data analysis in medicine, astrophotography, satellite imaging and few other areas. This work proposes a method for medical image registration using Fast Walsh Hadamard transform. This algorithm registers images of the same or different modalities.

Asymmetric optical image encryption using random Hilbert mask based on fast walsh hadamard transform
2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN), 2017A new image asymmetric encryption technique using Radial Hilbert mask (RHM) based on Fast Walsh Hadamard Transform (FWHT) is proposed for security enhancement. In this technique, bits of the secret image to be transmitted is randomized by shuffling the bits randomly. The obtained scrambled image is then masked with RHM and random phase mask (RPM) using

A soft fast estimation method of PN sequence based on weighting Walsh Hadamard Transform
2013 IEEE Third International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST), 2013Poor error-tolerance and polynomial taps restriction are the main issues of Walsh Hadamard Transform estimation method. This article is devoted to these issues and a novel soft fast PN sequence estimation algorithm based on weighting Walsh Hadamard Transform is proposed.
