A one‐dimensional diffusion‐based mass transport model was built using PHREEQC to highlight the potential challenges posed by thermochemical sulfate reduction (TSR) in depleted gas fields. The results obtained indicated that the presence of iron minerals (pyrite and hematite) is crucial for H2S generation through TSR reactions.

The article highlights the ideological basis of two key Palestinian movements – Fatah and Hamas. The conflict between them was never resolved after the parliamentary crisis in 2006.
