An In Situ Embedded B‐MOF Sponge With Shape‐Memory for All‐in‐One Diabetic Wound Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A smart shape‐memory sponge dressing (P1A3@B‐MOF) is developed for accelerated diabetic wound healing. It achieves pH‐responsive corelease of Zn2+ and salvianolic acid B, synergistically providing antibacterial action, repolarizing macrophages to the M2 phenotype, and promoting angiogenesis.

Grain boundary oxidation and fatigue crack growth at elevated temperatures [PDF]

open access: yes
Fatigue crack growth rate at elevated temperatures can be accelerated by grain boundary oxidation. Grain boundary oxidation kinetics and the statistical distribution of grain boundary oxide penetration depth were studied.

Characterisation of microstructure, defect and high-cycle-fatigue behaviour in a stainless steel joint processed by brazing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We report the characterisation of microstructures and high-cycle-fatigue (HCF) properties of Type 304 stainless steel joints processed by brazing. Pure copper was applied as the filler metal for brazing at 1120 °C. A two-phase microstructure was obtained

Moddeling of Loading Rate Effects on Fatigue Crack Growth

open access: yesEngineering Transactions, 1993
A mechanical model of fatigue crack growth at low and intermediate ΔK values is presented. In the model the effect of the loading rate on the fatigue crack growth is considered. The localstress and strain are calculated based on the Hutchinson, Rice and

Prediction of growth rate of short fatigue cracks.

open access: yesTRANSACTIONS OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Series A, 1987
A method based on crack closure was proposed to predict the growth rate of short fatigue cracks in either smooth specimens or notched specimens. The material properties used in this prediction were the growth behavior of long cracks and the fatigue limit of smooth specimens.
