Fatigue Reliability of Marine Structures
1993Fatigue reliability of marine structures is an important design consideration both for ship structures, fixed and floating offshore platforms for oil and gas exploration and exploitation. The importance of performing a fatigue resistant design is increased by use of lighter materials and materials with higher static strength and the emergence of ...

Reliability and Fatigue Testing of MEMS
1998Microelectromechanical structures (MEMS) utilize brittle materials such as polycrystalline silicon (polysilicon) under potentially severe mechanical and environmental loading conditions. These structures may be subjected to high frequency, cyclic loading conditions, accumulating large numbers of cycles in relatively short periods of time.

Reliability analysis of creep–fatigue failure
International Journal of Fatigue, 2000Abstract This paper proposes a probabilistic model for the reliability analysis of the creep and fatigue of materials. A new nonlinear creep–fatigue failure criterion function is introduced based on experimental data to facilitate analytical reliability approximations. This function is not restricted by any symmetry assumption used in current studies.
