TH17–Associated Polyamine Metabolism‐Guided Nanozyme Promotes Alveolar Bone Repair in Periodontitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A pronounced TH17‐skewed immune response is identified in experimental periodontitis, and enrichment of the polyamine pathway is observed during TH17 differentiation, suggesting its potential as an immunometabolic target. Inspired by these findings, DFMO@Ui‐Mn is developed as a therapeutic platform combining cascade ROS scavenging with immunometabolic ...

Full arthroscopic latissimus dorsi and teres major tendons transfer for massive and irreparable rotator cuff defects: mid-term outcomes

open access: yesTravmatologiâ i Ortopediâ Rossii
Background. Treatment of massive irreparable rotator cuff tears remains a challenging clinical problem. Recent advances in arthroscopic techniques have improved functional outcomes and broadened the indications for musculotendinous transfers, which are ...

Phase Separation of TRIM21 Modulates PTPN14 Stability to Drive Flow‐Dependent Endothelial Activation and Atherogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Disturbed flow promotes the formation of TRIM21‐rich biomolecular droplets, which concentrate TRIM21 and PTPN14 and facilitate their SPRY‐FERM interaction (illustrated by the TRIM21 D355‐PTPN14 R132 salt bridge). This condensate‐driven proximity enables TRIM21 to catalyze K48‐linked polyubiquitination of PTPN14 at lysine 956, leading to proteasome ...

Intramuscular distribution and progression of fatty infiltration.

open access: yes, 2014
Transveral T1 weighted images at different positions of the thigh of a FSHD patient. Baseline measurement (left panels) reveals an uneven distruibution over the length of the muscle with an increasing fat infiltration from proximal (top) to distal ...

Gut Microbiota‐Isoallolithocholic Acid Crosstalk Promotes Calcium Oxalate Kidney Stone Formation via PARP1‐Mediated Parthanatos

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bile acids have been implicated in calcium oxalate (CaOx) nephrolithiasis. Here, we employ multi‐omics approaches to identify isoallolithocholic acid (isoalloLCA) as the key bile acid elevated in the feces, serum, kidney, and urine of CaOx rats, confirmed by spatial metabolomics.

Lower trapezius tendon transfer for massive irreparable rotator cuff tears improves outcomes in patients with high grade fatty infiltration of teres minor

open access: yesJSES International
Background: This study compares postoperative outcomes of lower trapezius tendon transfers (LTTTs) in massive irreparable rotator cuff (RC) tears based on the degree of teres minor (TM) fatty infiltration.

The Mitogen‐Activated Protein Kinase GhNTF3 Modulates the Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Symbiosis‐Immunity Trade‐Off in Cotton by Regulating Salicylic Acid Biosynthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AM symbiosis induces GhWAK13 to promote fungal colonization. GhNTF3 negatively regulates symbiosis by promoting SA biosynthesis. GhWAK13 sequesters GhNTF3 at the membrane, limiting its nuclear translocation and relieving SA‐mediated suppression. Under Verticillium stress, GhNTF3 enters the nucleus and interacts with GhJAZ6 to activate SA signaling ...

An Effector TaCRVP From Tuta Absoluta Oral Secretion Impairs H2O2‐Mediated Plant Defense by Targeting Tomato SlCAT2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Tuta absoluta salivary effector TaCRVP subverts tomato immunity by hijacking host catalase SlCAT2. Through a sophisticated dual mechanism, TaCRVP simultaneously promotes SlCAT2 tetramerization for activation and blocks its SlAdBiL‐mediated degradation for stabilization.
