Improved Low Voltage Ride-Through Capability of DFIG with ESO Controller under Unbalanced Network Conditions

open access: yesMajlesi Journal of Electrical Engineering
Under unbalanced grid condition, in a Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG), voltage, current, and flux of the stator become asymmetric. Therefore, active-reactive power and torque will be oscillating.

Data‐Driven Bulldozer Blade Control for Autonomous Terrain Leveling

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A simulation‐driven framework for autonomous bulldozer leveling is presented, combining high‐fidelity terramechanics simulation with a neural‐network‐based reduced‐order model. Gradient‐based optimization enables efficient, low‐level blade control that balances leveling quality and operation time.

Plant‐protein supplementation improves thermoregulatory responses and ameliorates markers of intestinal damage during exercise in the heat

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract Exercise in the heat often causes gastrointestinal (GI) disturbances, which can impair performance. Single amino acid supplementation can attenuate gut damage and enhance exercise tolerance; however, the effectiveness of innate amino acid blends from plant‐based proteins remains underexplored.

Enabling Systemic Trust in the Physical Internet: An eDSR Approach to Governance Model Design

open access: yesJournal of Business Logistics, Volume 47, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT The Physical Internet (PI) envisions a hyperconnected cyber‐physical logistics system inspired by the Digital Internet, yet adoption remains limited due to persistent trust and governance challenges. This study addresses these barriers by conceptualizing systemic trust as a foundational requirement for broad participation in the PI.

Analytical Modeling of Rotary Electromagnetic Fault Current Limiter

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Rotary electromagnetic fault current limiter (FCL) is an emerging technology for limiting fault currents in the power network. The device consists of two movable air-core spherical reactor rings (i.e., inner and outer rings).

Control Strategies for a Power Electronic Based Fault Current Limiter (FCL) in No-Fault Operation

open access: yesRE&PQJ
Fault current limiters (FCL) in electrical power systems offer the opportunity to reduce short-circuit stresses to the system in the case of faults. But as electrical power systems are normally operated without faults most of the time, FCLs must not have negative effects during these periods of normal operation.

Analysis of the fault current limiting requirement and design of the bridge‐type FCL in the multi‐terminal DC grid

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2018
In the multi‐terminal flexible dc grid, it is important for the healthy network to ride through the dc fault. The converters should operate continuously after dc faults, staying unblocked. But the existing selective protection and isolation method may fail to react swiftly enough, because the propagation speed of the dc fault current is extremely fast.

Disaster Relief Through a Complex Adaptive System Perspective: Firms' Motivations, Activities, and the Role of Operations Adaptability in Overlapping Landscapes

open access: yesJournal of Business Logistics, Volume 47, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Natural disasters disrupt the normal functioning of both communities and businesses. However, past literature often segregates the disaster relief view from the business continuity perspective, leaving a gap in understanding how firms can proactively support relief efforts.

Feasibility Study of Superconducting Power Flow Controller and Fault Current Limiter (SPFCL) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A superconducting power flow controller and fault current limiter is proposed in this paper, which can not only control power flow in the steady operating state, but also limit fault current in the fault condition.
