Control Design for a Power Electronic Based Fault Current Limiter (FCL)
This paper shows a solution for controlling shortcircuit currents of a power electronic based Fault Current Limiter (FCL). A model for control design of three-phase short-circuit currents will be presented. A way of limiting the maximum aperiodic short-circuit current is derived with special regards to the stability of the entire system.

Reversal of economic integration: evidence from European Union enlargement
Abstract Empirical models of trade agreements implicitly assume that withdrawal from a trade agreement has an equal and opposite trade effect as accession (i.e., symmetry). With increasing opposition to international economic cooperation, it becomes urgent to test this assumption.

A Current Limiting Strategy to Improve Fault Ride-Through of Inverter Interfaced Autonomous Microgrids [PDF]
With high penetration of distributed energy resources (DER), fault management strategy is of great importance for the distribution network operation. The objective of this paper is to propose a current and voltage limiting strategy to enhance fault ride ...

Abstract Exercise in the heat often causes gastrointestinal (GI) disturbances, which can impair performance. Single amino acid supplementation can attenuate gut damage and enhance exercise tolerance; however, the effectiveness of innate amino acid blends from plant‐based proteins remains underexplored.

ABSTRACT Background Artificial intelligence is emerging in healthcare systems. In type 1 diabetes, AI‐enabled tools are increasingly used to support nutrition assessment and insulin decision‐making, yet their clinical utility and safety remain unclear. Methods The study aims to identify and map the evidence on the clinical utility of AI‐based diabetes ...

Novel fault location in MTDC grids with non-homogeneous transmission lines utilizing distributed current sensing technology [PDF]
This paper presents a new method for locating faults in multi-terminal direct current (MTDC) networks incorporating hybrid transmission media (HTMs), including segments of underground cables (UGCs) and overhead lines (OHLs). The proposed travelling wave (

ABSTRACT Aims Studies evaluating automated insulin delivery (AID) in type 2 diabetes are limited in number and often conducted in small cohorts. We aimed to summarize efficacy and safety data through a systematic review and meta‐analysis. Materials and Methods We searched MEDLINE, PubMed, Web of Science, and CENTRAL databases and performed hand ...
