Fault current and fault voltage analysis of power transmission systems with high penetration of inverter-based wind generators

open access: yesActa Scientiarum: Technology, 2022
This paper highlights the evolution of wind power sources in the modern energy scenario, emphasizing the impacts of inverter-based generators, namely Full-Converter and DFIG (Doubly-Fed Induction Generator), on fault currents and fault voltages in ...

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Feasibility of a ctDNA multigenic panel for non‐small‐cell lung cancer early detection and disease surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Plasma‐based detection of actionable mutations is a promising approach in lung cancer management. Analysis of ctDNA with a multigene NGS panel identified TP53, KRAS, and EGFR as the most frequently altered, with TP53 and KRAS in treatment‐naïve patients and TP53 and EGFR in previously treated patients.

Current–Time Characteristics of Resistive Superconducting Fault Current Limiters [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, 2012
Superconducting fault current limiters (SFCLs) may play an important role in power-dense electrical systems. Therefore, it is important to understand the dynamic characteristics of SFCLs. This will allow the behavior of multiple SFCLs in a system to be fully understood during faults and other transient conditions, which will consequently permit the ...

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Fault Diagnosis Method for Submersible Reciprocating Pumping Unit Based on Deep Belief Network

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
A fault diagnosis method based on deep belief network (DBN) is to solve the high fault rate of a submersible reciprocating pumping unit, and to address the difficulties in measurement of downhole operation parameters.

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

General Fault-Tolerant Operation of Electric-Drive-Reconstructed Onboard Charger Incorporating Asymmetrical Six-Phase Drive for EVs

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal
In this paper, the fault-tolerant operation of an electric-drive-reconstructed onboard charger (EDROC) designed on the basis of an asymmetrical six-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine (ASPMSM) drive is studied and discussed for cases where an open-
