Model-based fault detection and isolation for wind turbine [PDF]
In this paper, a quantitative model based method is proposed for early fault detection and diagnosis of wind turbines. The method is based on designing an observer using a model of the system. The observer innovation signal is monitored to detect faults.

Data-Driven Fault Detection and Isolation for Multirotor System Using Koopman Operator
This paper presents a data-driven fault detection and isolation (FDI) for a multirotor system using Koopman operator and Luenberger observer. Koopman operator is an infinite-dimensional linear operator that can transform nonlinear dynamical systems into ...

Sensor Fault Detection and Isolation via Networked Estimation: Full-Rank Dynamical Systems [PDF]
This article considers the problem of simultaneous sensor fault detection, isolation, and networked estimation of linear full-rank dynamical systems. The proposed networked estimation is a variant of single time-scale protocol and is based on consensus ...

In this paper, we focus on distributed fault detection and isolation (FDI) for a multi-robot system where multiple robots execute a flocking task. Firstly, we propose a fault detection method based on the local-information-exchange and sensor-measurement

Exact, almost and delayed fault detection:an observer based approach [PDF]
This paper considers the problem of fault detection and isolation in continuous- and discrete-time systems while using zero or almost zero threshold. A number of different fault detection and isolation problems using exact or almost exact disturbance ...

A Cre‐dependent lentiviral vector for neuron subtype‐specific expression of large proteins
We designed a versatile and modular lentivector comprising a Cre‐dependent switch and self‐cleaving 2A peptide and tested it for co‐expression of GFP and a 2.8 kb gene of interest (GOI) in mouse cortical parvalbumin (PV+) interneurons and midbrain dopamine (TH+) neurons.

Fault detection and isolation for a wind turbine benchmark using a mixed Bayesian/Set-membership approach [PDF]
This paper addresses the problem of fault detection and isolation of wind turbines using a mixed Bayesian/Set-membership approach. Modeling errors are assumed to be unknown but bounded, following the set-membership approach.

Peptide‐based ligand antagonists block a Vibrio cholerae adhesin
The structure of a peptide‐binding domain of the Vibrio cholerae adhesin FrhA was solved by X‐ray crystallography, revealing how the inhibitory peptide AGYTD binds tightly at its Ca2+‐coordinated pocket. Structure‐guided design incorporating D‐amino acids enhanced binding affinity, providing a foundation for developing anti‐adhesion therapeutics ...

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...
