The t/k-Diagnosability and a t/k Diagnosis Algorithm of the Data Center Network BCCC under the MM* Model

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2022
The evaluation of the fault diagnosis capability of a data center network (DCN) is important research in measuring network reliability. The g-extra diagnosability is defined under the condition that every component except the fault vertex set contains at

A Diagnosability-Integrated Design Approach Based on Graph Theory

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
In order to take into account the influence of both system structure and diagnosis algorithm in the diagnosability design of the system, a diagnosability-integrated design method based on graph theory was proposed in this paper.

Two-Round Diagnosability Measures for Multiprocessor Systems

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
In a multiprocessor system, as a key measure index for evaluating its reliability, diagnosability has attracted lots of attentions. Traditional diagnosability and conditional diagnosability have already been widely discussed.

g-Good-Neighbor Conditional Diagnosability and g-Extra Conditional Diagnosability of Hypercubes Under Symmetric PMC Model [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue
Fault diagnosis plays a very important role in maintaining the reliability of multiprocessor systems, and the diagno-sability is an important measure of the diagnosis capability of the system.Except for the traditional diagnosability, there are also ...

Diagnosability of composite automata based on semi-tensor product

open access: yesSystems Science & Control Engineering, 2021
Fault diagnosis is an important issue of partially observed discrete event systems (DESs). In this problem, fault detection and isolation are two associated tasks, where a fault is diagnosable if it can be detected certainly with a finite delay ...

Fault Isolability Analysis and Optimal Sensor Placement for Fault Diagnosis in Smart Buildings

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Faults and anomalies in buildings are among the main causes of building energy waste and occupant discomfort. An effective automatic fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) process in buildings can therefore save a significant amount of energy and improve ...

A Unified Diagnosability Evaluation Framework for Complex Systems

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2013
A unified diagnosability evaluation framework for complex systems is presented. In this framework, four elements are used to define the diagnosability evaluation problem: fault space, indication space, fault-indication relation, and metrics. In different

Deep PCA-Based Incipient Fault Diagnosis and Diagnosability Analysis of High-Speed Railway Traction System via FNR Enhancement

open access: yesMachines, 2023
In recent years, the data-driven based FDD (Fault Detection and Diagnosis) of high-speed train electric traction systems has made rapid progress, as the safe operation of traction system is closely related to the reliability and stability of high-speed ...

Quantitative stochastic fault diagnosability analysis [PDF]

open access: yes2011 50th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control and European Control Conference, 2011
A theory is developed for quantifying fault detectability and fault isolability properties of static linear stochastic models. Based on the model, a stochastic characterization of system behavior in different fault modes is defined and a general measure, based on the Kullback-Leibler information, is proposed to quantify the difference between the modes.

Diagnosability of Vector Discrete-Event Systems Using Predicates

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The diagnosability problem of faults is studied in the framework of vector discrete-event system (VDES). A VDES is a discrete-event system model in which a system state is represented by a vector with integer components, and state transitions are ...
