Optimization of satellite resource scheduling under regional target coverage conditions

open access: yesOpen Astronomy, 2022
This study presented a mathematical description of an arbitrary shape area, and after analyzing the characteristics of the near-polar orbital co-ground trajectory constellation that satisfies the revisit interval constraint, an optimization model of the ...

Experimental study of the effect of fallen leaf shading on the polarization characteristics of photovoltaic modules

open access: yesSN Applied Sciences, 2023
Coverings have an important impact on the output and safety of photovoltaic (PV) modules. However, due to the complex on-site environment and difficult identification, it is difficult to obtain timely and effective cleaning.

A Novel Monitoring Strategy Combining the Advantages of NPE and GMM

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Semiconductor manufacturing process data usually have multimodel and multiphase characteristics which do not meet the application assumptions in neighborhood preserving embedding (NPE).

Fault Detection in the Tennessee Eastman Benchmark Process Using Principal Component Difference Based on K-Nearest Neighbors

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Industrial data usually have nonlinear or multimodal characteristics which do not meet the data assumptions of statistics in principal component analysis (PCA). Therefore, PCA has a lower fault detection rate in industrial processes.

Diagnosis of Intermittent Faults [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Event Dynamic Systems, 2004
Discrete event systems (DESs) are considered for which faulty behaviour occurs ``intermittently'', with fault events \(f_i\), \(i=1,\dots,m\), followed by reset events \(r_i\), \(i=1,\dots,m\), followed by new occurrences of fault events, and so forth.

A Novel Hybrid-Fuel Storage System of Compressed Air Energy for China

open access: yesEnergies, 2014
Compressed air energy storage (CAES) is a large-scale technology that provides long-duration energy storage. It is promising for balancing the large-scale penetration of intermittent and dispersed sources of power, such as wind and solar power, into ...

Dynamic Modelling and Continuous Trajectory Tracking Control of Space Robots Based on Lie Group SE(3)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2023
For space robots, it is difficult to track continuous time-varying manifolds on SE(3) by using traditional closed-loop control strategies, which are designed to track the position and the attitude separately.

Analog fault diagnosis: a fault clustering approach [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings ETC 93 Third European Test Conference, 2002
A novel analog circuit fault diagnosis method is proposed. This method uses a neural network paradigm to cluster different faults. It is capable of dealing with the common fault models in analog circuits, namely the catastrophic and parametric faults. The proposed technique is independent of the linearity or nonlinearity of the circuit.
