Fault Diagnosis for Robots

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1994
Abstract This paper presents a comprehensive fault diagnosis system for robots. The basic idea is a real time supervision of the robot simultaneously in time, frequency and parameter domain. In time domain a set of nonlinear equations is used to describe the dynamic behavior of the robot.

Fault Diagnosis in MANET

2011
Fault diagnosis in Mobile Ad-hoc Network is very challenging task. Diagnosis algorithm should be efficient enough to find the status (either faulty or fault-free) of each mobile in the network. The models in the literature are either for static fault or dynamic fault. Dynamic fault identification is more complex and difficult than static fault. In this

Fault Diagnosis Systems

2014
Sensors and real apparatus are prone to faults that, in turn, affect the quality of retrieved data. Detection of faults or erroneous behaviors in sensor data stream must be anticipated to prevent drastic side effects (recall we make decisions out of incoming data).

Ongoing fault diagnosis

Proceedings 15th Symposium on Reliable Distributed Systems, 2002
We consider a dynamic fault diagnosis problem: there are n processors, to be tested in a series of rounds. In every testing round we use a directed matching to have some processors report on the status (good or faulty) of other processors. Also, in each round up to t processors may break down, and we may direct that up to t processors are repaired.

Techniques for Fault Diagnosis

2017
Advances in flow-based microfluidics now allow an efficient implementation of biochemistry-on-a-chip for DNA sequencing, drug discovery, and point-of-care disease diagnosis. However, the adoption of flow-based biochips is hampered by defects that frequently occur in chips fabricated using soft lithography techniques.

Automated Fault Diagnosis

1986
Machinery condition monitoring and fault diagnosis using a fault matrix and process deviation approach is described. In particular the application of computer aided diagnosis using an expert system based on artificial intelligence is considered. A prototype fault finding system has been developed and tested. Some examples from this system and some more
