Analysis of Weak Fault in Hydraulic System Based on Multi-scale Permutation Entropy of Fault-Sensitive Intrinsic Mode Function and Deep Belief Network

open access: yesEntropy, 2019
With the aim of automatic recognition of weak faults in hydraulic systems, this paper proposes an identification method based on multi-scale permutation entropy feature extraction of fault-sensitive intrinsic mode function (IMF) and deep belief network ...

Identification of methods with low fault risk [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 40th International Conference on Software Engineering: Companion Proceeedings, 2018
Test resources are usually limited and therefore it is often not possible to completely test an application before a release. Therefore, testers need to focus their activities on the relevant code regions. In this paper, we introduce an inverse defect prediction approach to identify methods that contain hardly any faults. We applied our approach to six

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Fsm-Based Enhanced March C- Algorithm For Memory Built-In Self-Test [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Algorithms plays an important role in the Memory Built-In Self-Test as its structure will define the fault coverage of the system. Thus, the improvement of the algorithms will allow more fault types being identified in single test. For MARCH C- algorithm,

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Ground fault identification and location of autotransformer traction network for high‐speed railway based on multi‐terminals synchronous measure information

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2023
With the rapid development of high‐speed railway, the auto‐transformer traction network (ATN) is also expanding. However, due to the improved performance of electric multiple units (EMUs) and the non‐linear relationship between impedance and ground fault

Location of leaks in pipelines using parameter identification tools [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This work proposes an approach to locate leaks by identifying the parameters of finite models associated with these fault events. The identification problem is attacked by using well-known identification methods such as the Prediction Error Method and ...

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Fault recognition method of smart grid data acquisition system based on FNN and sequential DS fusion

open access: yesCognitive Computation and Systems, 2021
It is of significant practical importance to ensure the operational safety of the smart grid, which requires real‐time fault diagnosis and identifying what causes it based on an enormous amount of data.
