Application of a Fault Detection and Isolation System on a Rotary Machine

open access: yesInternational Journal of Rotating Machinery, 2013
The paper illustrates the design and the implementation of a Fault Detection and Isolation (FDI) system to a rotary machine like a multishaft centrifugal compressor.

Machine learning techniques for fault isolation and sensor placement [PDF]

open access: yes
Fault isolation and sensor placement are vital for monitoring and diagnosis. A sensor conveys information about a system's state that guides troubleshooting if problems arise.

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Improving PARP inhibitor efficacy in bladder cancer without genetic BRCAness by combination with PLX51107

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Time-Varying Fault Diagnosis for Asynchronous Multisensor Systems Based on Augmented IMM and Strong Tracking Filtering

open access: yesJournal of Control Science and Engineering, 2018
A fault detection, isolation, and estimation approach is proposed in this paper based on Interactive Multimodel (IMM) fusion filtering and Strong Tracking Filtering (STF) for asynchronous multisensors dynamic systems. Time-varying fault is considered and

Documentation of the current fault detection, isolation and reconfiguration software of the AIPS fault-tolerant processor [PDF]

open access: yes
Documentation is presented of the December 1986 version of the ADA code for the fault detection, isolation, and reconfiguration (FDIR) functions of the Advanced Information processing System (AIPS) Fault-Tolerant Processor (FTP). Because the FTP is still

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

A new test vector optimization method for failure isolation

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong, 2018
In order to improve the fault diagnosis efficiency and shorten the fault isolation time based on the testability modeling, a test vector optimization method is proposed. Aiming at the exact detection and isolation requirements of each failure mode in the

Flight test results of the Strapdown hexad Inertial Reference Unit (SIRU). Volume 1: Flight test summary [PDF]

open access: yes
Flight test results of the strapdown inertial reference unit (SIRU) navigation system are presented. The fault-tolerant SIRU navigation system features a redundant inertial sensor unit and dual computers.

Inverse Simulation as a Tool for Fault Detection and Isolation in Planetary Rovers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
With manned expeditions to planetary bodies beyond our own and the Moon currently intractable, the onus falls upon robotic systems to explore and analyse extraterrestrial environments such as Mars. These systems typically take the form of wheeled rovers,
