Leveraging Data‐Driven and Fundamental Insights for Electrolyte Innovation in Lithium Metal Batteries

Using 640 curated electrolyte formulations, we apply data‐driven analysis to reveal how molecular features govern coulombic efficiency (CE) in lithium metal batteries. Fluorine content correlates positively with CE, while oxygen, carbon, and higher boiling points correlate negatively.

Locked and creeping patches along the Hayward Fault, California

The results of mapping locked and unlocked patches on the Hayward fault using the local recurrence time method are compared with models derived from surface creep and geodetic measurements. The data used were the M > 1.0 earthquakes in the USGS catalog since 1981.0, located within 5 km of the fault trace.

Ultrathin and Flexible Organic Light‐Addressable Potentiometric Sensors

The first ultrathin, fully organic, and flexible light‐addressable potentiometric sensor (LAPS) is demonstrated. With a thickness of only 2.3–2.9 µm, this standalone film offers sensitivity to electrolyte potential and stable performance for over 170 days.
