A Fault Prediction Model of Adaptive Fuzzy Neural Network for Optimal Membership Function
As an essential and challenging technology of fault prediction and health management(PHM), fault prediction technology has been a research focus in the field of fault diagnosis. However, the current model-based fault prediction technology and data-driven

Robust Fault Diagnosis by Optimal Input Design for Self-sensing Systems
This paper presents a methodology for model based robust fault diagnosis and a methodology for input design to obtain optimal diagnosis of faults. The proposed algorithm is suitable for real time implementation. Issues of robustness are addressed for the

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Tree-related high-impedance faults (THIFs) in medium voltage distribution systems represent a typical fault, especially where an overhead line crosses a forested area. The arc caused by THIFs could ignite nearby combustibles, significantly increasing the

Analysis of the potential mechanisms of rockbursts [PDF]
Sudden slip on geological faults or other discontinuities in rock may be preceded by an initial phase of "slow" fault creep. A simple plane strain model of a suddenly loaded fault is analysed to illustrate the possible transition from stable slip ...

General Caching Is Hard: Even with Small Pages
Caching (also known as paging) is a classical problem concerning page replacement policies in two-level memory systems. General caching is the variant with pages of different sizes and fault costs. We give the first NP-hardness result for general caching

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Micro grid fault diagnosis based on redundant embedding Petri net
On account of the variable topology and multi-terminal power supply in micro-grid, the fault diagnosis faces more and more challenges. Traditional fault location criteria are unsuitable and fault diagnosis modelling is complex or poor versatility ...
