ATP13A2 is involved in intracellular polyamine transport in lung epithelial cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Spermidine transport in lung epithelial cells involves the polyamine transporter ATP13A2. Cell proliferation is associated with the upregulation of ATP13A2. Polyamines are present in all living cells and are implicated in various crucial cellular processes such as proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy.

Ride-through strategies of thyristor controlled phase shifting transformer under grid faults

open access: yes电力工程技术
Thyristor controlled phase shifting transformer (TCPST) is a new type of power flow control equipment. Due to its series and shunt coupling topology and special connection to the power grid, it is necessary to consider the handling strategy in case of ...

Impact of Impulse Current on Current Protection in Fault Recovery and Closing of Active Distribution Networks with Soft Open Point

open access: yesShanghai Jiaotong Daxue xuebao
In distribution networks with distributed generation (DG), employing a soft open point (SOP) to replace a tie switch during fault recovery enables load transfer and simultaneous voltage support for distributed generations.

Transient-fault recovery for chip multiprocessors [PDF]

open access: yes30th Annual International Symposium on Computer Architecture, 2003. Proceedings., 2003
To address the increasing susceptibility of commodity chip multiprocessors (CMPs) to transient faults, we propose Chiplevel Redundantly Threaded multiprocessor with Recovery (CRTR). CRTR extends the previously-proposed CRT for transient-fault detection in CMPs, and the previously-proposed SRTR for transient-fault recovery in SMT.

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

A Novel Model-Based Dynamic Analysis Method for State Correlation With IMA Fault Recovery

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Integrated modular avionics (IMA) systems present many advantages. However, the resource sharing mechanism also brings a series of system problems, including the frequency of fault propagation and the difficulties of system design verification.

Multi‐omics and low‐input proteomics profiling reveals dynamic regulation driving pluripotency initiation in early mouse embryos

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

Trust-Aware Reflective Control for Fault-Resilient Dynamic Task Response in Human–Swarm Cooperation

open access: yesAI
Due to the complexity of real-world deployments, a robot swarm is required to dynamically respond to tasks such as tracking multiple vehicles and continuously searching for victims. Frequent task assignments eliminate the need for system calibration time,
