Peak-to-Average Power Ratio Reduction of FBMC/OQAM Signal Using a Joint Optimization Scheme

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
Owing to the signal structure difference between the filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC/OQAM) and the orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, the existing technologies to reduce the peak-to ...

Hybrid PAPR Reduction Scheme for FBMC/OQAM Systems Based on Multi Data Block PTS and TR Methods

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2016
The filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC/OQAM) is being studied by many researchers as a key enabler for the fifth-generation air interface. In this paper, a hybrid peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction scheme

Interference-free SDMA for FBMC-OQAM [PDF]

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2013
Filter-bank multi-carrier (FBMC) modulations have recently been considered for the emerging wireless communication systems as a means to improve the utilization of the physical resources and the robustness to channel time variations. FBMC divides the overall frequency channel in a set of subchannels of bandwidth proportionally decreasing with the ...

Performance study of HF communication using NOMA over narrowband HF channel

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 17, Issue 14, Page 1683-1690, August 2023., 2023
The novelty of this research is to increase the bit rate on high frequency (HF) systems. Non‐orthogonal multiple access technique (NOMA) technology is used over HF at narrow band 3 kHz ranges. In order to have real experiments SDR Hack RF systems are used, and the results show improvement in bit rate up to 45%.
