Spectral Efficient Asymmetrically Clipped Hybrid FBMC for Visible Light Communication
Filter bank multicarrier (FBMC) modulation has shown sufficient potential for wireless communication. A hybrid optical FBMC technique is proposed to improve the spectral efficiency of a visible light communication (VLC) system.

Continuous unconstrained PSO‐PTS strategy to maximize HPA energy efficiency for FBMC‐OQAM systems
In filter bank multi‐carrier (FBMC) with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (OQAM) systems, the major limitation of FBMC‐OQAM signaling is the high peak‐to‐average power ratio (PAPR).

An Analysis of Algebraic Codes over Lattice Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Type-3 R-Submodules. [PDF]
In the last few decades, the algebraic coding theory found widespread applications in various disciplines due to its rich fascinating mathematical structure. Linear codes, the basic codes in coding theory, are significant in data transmission. In this article, the authors’ aim is to enlighten the reader about the role of linear codes in a fuzzy ...

Performance study of HF communication using NOMA over narrowband HF channel
The novelty of this research is to increase the bit rate on high frequency (HF) systems. Non‐orthogonal multiple access technique (NOMA) technology is used over HF at narrow band 3 kHz ranges. In order to have real experiments SDR Hack RF systems are used, and the results show improvement in bit rate up to 45%.

Joint radar communication system design based on filter bank multicarrier modulation scheme
Abstract Since orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals are sensitive to Doppler shift, OFDM signals with cyclic prefix (CP) not only reduce the communication rate but also result in symmetric pseudo peaks in the ambiguity function of the radar, which eventually lead to the degradation of the performance of the joint radar ...

Nowadays, multicarrier modulation schemes are being widely used in wireless communication system than single‐carrier modulation techniques. Single‐carrier modulation schemes are less capable of dealing with multipath fading channels than multicarrier modulation schemes, which results in lower spectral efficiency.

Capacity analysis of WCC-FBMC/OQAM systems [PDF]
This paper evaluates the capacity of weighted circularly convolved FBMC/OQAM systems. A rigorous mathematical model is derived to calculate the increase of capacity that can be obtained thanks to the lattice structure of the modulation and the exploitation of the intrinsic interference.

PAPR reduction technique for FBMC based visible light communication systems
Abstract One of the critical challenges in multicarrier‐based systems is peak to average power ratio (PAPR). Recently, Filter Bank Multicarrier (FBMC) is proved to be a promising candidate that can replace the traditional orthogonal multiplexing division (OFDM) scheme due to its better spectral efficiency, reducing both inter‐channel interference (ICI)

A Discrete Bit Loading Algorithm for FBMC/OQAM [PDF]
In this letter the discrete rate maximization problem is investigated for FBMC/OQAM. The analysis reveals that if there is crosstalk certain bit allocations violate the power constraints. Aiming at ensuring the feasibility along with alleviating the complexity we have devised a novel iterative algorithm, which always converges. Simulation-based results
