Performance study of HF communication using NOMA over narrowband HF channel

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 17, Issue 14, Page 1683-1690, August 2023., 2023
The novelty of this research is to increase the bit rate on high frequency (HF) systems. Non‐orthogonal multiple access technique (NOMA) technology is used over HF at narrow band 3 kHz ranges. In order to have real experiments SDR Hack RF systems are used, and the results show improvement in bit rate up to 45%.

FBMC system: an insight into doubly dispersive channel impact [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
It has been claimed that filter bank multicarrier (FBMC) systems suffer from negligible performance loss caused by moderate dispersive channels in the absence of guard time protection between symbols.

On the performance of non‐contiguous carrier aggregation in presence of subspectral errors

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 17, Issue 9, Page 1103-1117, June 2023., 2023
The paper analyzes the performance of the non‐contiguous carrier aggregation in the presence of inter‐subspectrum errors. Although, the analyzed subspectra aggregation in physical layer is partially different from the mainstream carrier aggregation techniques, it also has the same effect of increasing communication bandwidth and improving spectrum ...

Continuous unconstrained PSO‐PTS strategy to maximize HPA energy efficiency for FBMC‐OQAM systems

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 17, Issue 5, Page 614-631, March 2023., 2023
This paper theorizes the optimal FBMC‐OQAM signal distribution (OFSD), which has a global and steady feature and evaluates the maximal HPA efficiency‐suited multi‐carrier modulation (MCM) signal. The intelligent enhanced PTS algorithm traces the signal distribution for maximal HPA efficiency to keep supply‐side energy‐saving.
