Time-Range FDA Beampattern Characteristics

open access: yes, 2022
Current literature show that frequency diverse arrays (FDAs) are able of producing range-angle-dependent and time-variant transmit beampatterns, but the resulting time and range dependencies and their characteristics are still not well understood.

Recent Advances in Frequency Diverse Array Radar Techniques

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2022
Due to the range dependence and time-varying array factor of Frequency Diverse Array (FDA) radar, it can overcome the miss of range variable in traditional phased-array factor and gain loss of Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) radar array.

Waveform and Weight Vector Design for Anti‐Reconnaissance Based on FDA

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas &Propagation, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
This paper proposes an anti‐reconnaissance waveform and weight vector design method for frequency diverse array (FDA). The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method can affect reconnaissance aircraft estimation compared to other radars and methods.

Joint optimisation of transmit beamspace and receive filter in frequency diversity array‐multi‐input multi‐output radar

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2022
Frequency diversity array (FDA) radar provides more degrees of freedom and can generate range‐angle‐time‐dependent beampattern. Furthermore, based on the receiver's multi‐input multi‐output (MIMO) scheme, the frequency diversity array‐multi‐input multi ...

Joint Optimal Allocation of Resources for Multiple Jammer Based on Multi‐Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
In response to the complex scenario where multiple jammers navigate through a netted radar system (NRS), this study introduces an optimised allocation algorithm for cooperative jamming resources (MJCJRA), grounded in multi‐agent deep reinforcement learning.
