Sea Clutter Suppression by Atomic Norm Minimisation in Frequency Diverse Array‐Space‐Time Adaptive Processing Radar Under Range Ambiguity

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
Space‐time adaptive processing (STAP) is a useful approach to address sea clutter suppression. This paper studies to introduce atomic norm minimisation (ANM) into FDA‐STAP to enhance range ambiguous clutter suppression. ABSTRACT Sea clutter suppression is a hot topic for airborne radar.

An Insight Into the Adsorption of Potentially Hazardous Drugs From Pharmaceutical Wastewater Using Polyaniline–Mucuna Composite (PMC): Multicriteria Analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This study examined the extent to which polyaniline–Mucuna composite (PMC) can remove hydroquinone, hydrazine, and tolyltriazole (HHT), potentially hazardous drugs, from pharmaceutical effluent by adsorption. Batch adsorption with varying PMC dosages (0.004–0.02 g), contact periods (10–40 min), and pH levels (3–9) was employed.

Joint Localization and Orientation Estimation in Millimeter-Wave MIMO OFDM Systems via Atomic Norm Minimization

open access: yes, 2022
Herein, an atomic norm based method for accurately estimating the location and orientation of a target from millimeter-wave multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) signals is presented.

On the Performance of MMSE Channel Estimation in Massive MIMO Systems over Spatially Correlated Rician Fading Channels

open access: yesWireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
Massive multiple‐input‐multiple‐output (M‐MIMO) offers remarkable advantages in terms of spectral, energy, and hardware efficiency for future wireless systems. However, its performance relies on the accuracy of channel state information (CSI) available at the transceivers. This makes channel estimation pivotal in the context of M‐MIMO systems.

Angle and Range Unambiguous Estimation with Nested Frequency Diverse Array MIMO Radars

open access: yesRemote Sensing
This paper proposes an unambiguous method for joint angle and range estimation in colocated multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar using the nested frequency diverse array (NFDA). Unlike a conventional phased array (PA), the transmission beampattern

Maximum Likelihood Angle-Range Estimation for Monostatic FDA-MIMO Radar with Extended Range Ambiguity Using Subarrays

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2020
In this paper, we consider the joint angle-range estimation in monostatic FDA-MIMO radar. The transmit subarrays are first utilized to expand the range ambiguity, and the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) algorithm is first proposed to improve the ...
