Fe–Mg Interdiffusion in (Mg,Fe)O
Physics and Chemistry of Minerals, 2005We have performed a series of interdiffusion experiments on magnesiowustite samples at room pressure, temperatures from 1,320° to 1,400°C, and oxygen fugacities from 10−1.0 Pa to 10−4.3 Pa, using mixed CO/CO2 or H2/CO2 gases. The interdiffusion couples were composed of a single-crystal of MgO lightly pressed against a single-crystal of (Mg1-x

Spectrophotometric Determination of Fe(II), Fe(III), and Total Fe
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1971Abstract The orderly use of two known reactions [Fe(II) with α,α'-dipyridyl and Fe(III) with ascorbic acid] allowed to take place successively in the same aliquot sample solution provides a procedure for the quantitative determination of Fe(II), Fe(III), and total Fe. The procedure is simple, rapid, and sensitive enough to cope with samples containing

Results are presented from magnetic and magnetooptical studies of the magnetic configurations in a three-layer film Fe(30?????)/Si(14?????)/Fe(30?????) in which ferromagnetic and biquadratic exchange between iron layers is observed and which also possesses cubic and uniaxial anisotropy. These studies were done at temperatures of 300 and 10 K.

Zweifach arsenverbrückte CrFe-, MoFe- und WFe-bindungen
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1978Abstract The reaction of K2Fe(CO)4 with (CO)4 M(AsMe2Cl)2 (M Cr, Mo, W) gives low yields of the new heterodinuclear complexes (CO)4M-[μ-AsMe2]2-Fe(CO)3 with CrFe, MoFe and WFe bonds.

Ideal FeFeS, FeFeO phase relations and Earth's core
Physics of the Earth and Planetary Interiors, 1989Liquid-state and solid-state model fits to melting data for Fe, FeS and FeO provide constraints for calculating ideal phase relations in Fe-FeS and Fe-FeO systems in the pressure range corresponding to the Earth's outer core. The liquid-state model fit to the Fe melting data of Williams and Jeanloz places constraints on the temperature and other ...

The process of formation of the ??-Fe solid solution crystals at constant-rate heating the Fe??????B?????? amorphous alloy has been studied by means of X-ray diffractometry, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and resistance measurements. The experimental data have been analyzed using the proposed analytical model based on combination of Kolmogorov
