Structure and properties of Fe-Fe2B cermets
Journal of Materials Science, 1992The possibilities of producing Fe-Fe2B cermets as a result of sintering the pure elements Fe and B in a vacuum have been analysed. Attempts at sintering in the solid phase and with the participation of the liquid phase, the Fe-Fe2B eutectic, have been made.

Hard iron boride (Fe2B) on 99.97wt% pure iron
Vacuum, 2006Abstract Some properties such as hardness and fracture toughness of boride formed on the 99.97 wt% pure iron were investigated. Boronizing was carried out in a solid medium, consisting of Ekabor powders of 5% B4C as donor, 5% KBF4 as an activator and 90% SiC as diluent at 800 °C for 2, 4 and 8 h.

Charge and spin density distributions in the ferromagnetic alloy Fe2B
Philosophical Magazine and Journal, 1971The charge and spin density distributions in the ferromagnetic intermetallic compound Fe2B have been determined from x-ray and neutron scattering measurements. The results demonstrate significant deviations from spherical symmetry in the electronic configurations of the iron atoms.
