Sparseness-Optimized Feature Importance

In this paper, we propose a model-agnostic post-hoc explanation procedure devoted to computing feature attribution. The proposed method, termed Sparseness-Optimized Feature Importance (SOFI), entails solving an optimization problem related to the sparseness of feature importance explanations.
