Stress impedance effect of FeCoSiB/Cu/FeCoSiB sandwich layers on flexible substrate

open access: yesJournal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2011
Abstract FeCoSiB/Cu/FeCoSiB sandwich layers were deposited on flexible substrate to develop flexible stress/strain sensors. The influence of stress on the impedance of the multilayers is reported. The results show that the variation of the impedance increases with the increase in deflection of the free end of the cantilever.

Magnetic anisotropy control in amorphous FeCoSiB films by stress annealing

open access: yesThin Solid Films, 2011
Abstract It is important to control magnetic anisotropy of ferromagnetic materials. In this work, magnetic anisotropy of amorphous FeCoSiB films is controlled by stress annealing. FeCoSiB films are deposited on glass substrate and annealed with stress in vacuum.

Stress dependence of magnetic domains in FeCoSiB amorphous films

open access: yesJournal of Applied Physics, 2007
The work reports the effect of a tensile stress on the magnetic domain of FeCoSiB amorphous films. The domain structures of the unstressed and stressed FeCoSiB amorphous films with different tensile strains have been studied by magnetic force microscopy (MFM).

Torsional dependence of second-harmonic amplitude of giant magnetoimpedance in FeCoSiB amorphous wire

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2002
Summary form only given. The effect of torsional stresses in the magnetoimpedance response of a (Co/sub 0.94/Fe/sub 0.06/)/sub 72.5/Si/sub 12.5/B/sub 15/ amorphous wire (125 /spl mu/m and 5 cm in length) is analyzed in the present work. In particular, the occurrence of a second harmonic contribution of the magnetoimpedance voltage and its evolution ...

GMI Effect of FeCoSiB Amorphous Ribbon

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Research, 2010
The effects of AC frequency, magnetic field strength, ribbon length and test temperature on the Fe72Co8Si15B5 amorphous ribbon’s magnetic impedance were studied. The results showed that the resistance, reactance and impedance of amorphous ribbons increased with the increase of AC frequency, but decreased as magnetic field strength decreased; the ...

Preparation and characterization of AlN/FeCoSiB magnetoelectric thin film composites

Ceramics International, 2013
Abstract The preparation process of AlN/FeCoSiB thin film composites has been studied in detail in this work. The results indicate that annealing is more effective to improve the intensity of AlN (002) peak compared with changing sputtering parameters.

Stress impedance effects in flexible amorphous FeCoSiB magnetoelastic films

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2008
Amorphous FeCoSiB films were deposited on the flexible polyimide substrates (Kapton type (VN)) by DC magnetron sputtering. Stress impedance (SI) effects of the flexible amorphous FeCoSiB magnetoelastic films were investigated in details. The results show that a large stress impedance effect can be observed in the flexible amorphous FeCoSiB ...

Gear rotational speed sensor based on FeCoSiB/Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 magnetoelectric composite

Measurement: Journal of the International Measurement Confederation, 2021
Abstract This paper designs a gear rotational speed sensor consisting of a permanent magnet and a FeCoSiB/Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 magnetoelectric composite as a magnetic sensor. The influences of distances between the detection gear, FeCoSiB/Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 composite, and the permanent magnet on output voltage are investigated in detail. In order to achieve a larger
