The effect of stress on the magnetic domain and anisotropy of FeCoSiB amorphous films is investigated. It is observed that the unstressed sample consists of irregular domain while the stressed samples show the strip domain. The strip domain of the sample under tensile stress aligns parallel to the direction of the stress while that of the sample under ...

Field dependence of second-harmonic amplitude of magnetoimpedance in FeCoSiB joule heated wires
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2001The existence of a second-harmonic component of the giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) voltage in an amorphous FeCoSiB Joule heated wire is analysed. The evolution of the first-harmonic component of the GMI voltage with the axial DC applied magnetic field can be suitably described in terms of the evolution of the circumferential magnetic permeability.

Conflicting reports of large magnetoresistive and magnetoinductive effects in amorphous FeCoSiB wires and ribbons prompted the impedance measurements reported here. The spectra (0≤f≤3.2 MHz) were obtained at room temperature using a commercial impedance analyzer both as functions of axial magnetic field (−140<HA<140 Oe) and sense current (

Electrically modulated magnetoelectric AlN/FeCoSiB film composites for DC magnetic field sensing
Abstract Measurements of the converse magnetoelectric effect, observed for mesoscopic cantilever type magnetoelectric composites, are presented. The silicon based samples employ 2 µ m of amorphous (Fe 90 Co 10

Study of magnetic properties and double resonance peaks of FeCoB/SiO 2 /FeCoSiB magnetic films
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2016Abstract Soft-magnetic multilayers with or without SiO2 interlayer were fabricated on Si (111) substrates using magnetron sputtering. The static magnetic and high frequency electromagnetic properties of FeCoB(60 nm)/SiO2(6 nm)/FeCoSiB(t nm) or FeCoB(60 nm)/FeCoSiB(t nm)were systematically investigated.

Abstract The dependence of the giant magnetoimpedance effect on both the applied tensile stress and skin depth is employed to estimate the average of the frozen-in stresses within a Co-based amorphous wire fabricated by the in-rotating water quenching technique.

Reducing the Temperature Coefficient of the Magnetic Sensor With FeCoSiB Amorphous Wire
IEEE Sensors Letters, 2021Big offset drift with the change of the temperature was found for the magnetic sensor with (Fe0.06Co0.94)72.5Si2.5B15 amorphous wire. To reduce the temperature coefficient of the magnetic sensor, a bias reversal technology was developed. Instead of the static dc bias current, a square wave current, which was switched between +IB and -IB, was used to ...

Microbridge-Structured Magnetoelectric Sensor Array Based on PZT/FeCoSiB Thin Films
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2020We present the fabrication and characterization of an array of microbridge-structured magnetoelectric (ME) thin film sensors which are constructed by an ME composite consisting of a 1 $\mu \text{m}$ PZT film and a 1 $\mu \text{m}$ amorphous FeCoSiB film deposited on a partially thinned Si substrate.

Dynamic magnetization process in FeCoSiB amorphous wire under trigonal magnetic field
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1996The magnetization process of FeCoSiB amorphous wire under an ac circumferential magnetic field with a triangular waveform is investigated. We obtain the locus chart of the magnetization vector under a circular magnetic field, h/sub e/. By increasing the time differential component of h/sub e/, dh/sub e//dt, the hysteresis becomes noticeable gradually ...
