Effects of piezoelectric-phase orientations on magnetoelectric coefficient in AlN–FeCoSiB multiferroic composites

Journal of Materials Science, 2019
In this study, orientation dependences of ps11′, ps12′, pe33′ and d31′ for piezoelectric phase were investigated along arbitrary directions using relative experimental data and original matrices for AlN with point group of 6mm. Then, effects of various orientations of piezoelectric phase on magnetoelectric coefficient of AlN–FeCoSiB laminated ...

Magnetoelastic properties of nanostructured FeCoSiB ribbons used for high‐sensitive stress sensors

physica status solidi c, 2007
AbstractHigh‐sensitive stress sensor is simply constructed comprising magnetostrictive 30 μm‐thick (Fe80Co20)78Si12B10 ribbon acting as a sensitive magnetic core inside an induction coil. The stress can be determined indirectly by measuring the change in the output voltage in the two‐coil system.

Effect of Nb and Cr incorporation on the structural and magnetic properties of rapidly quenched FeCoSiB microwires

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2012
Abstract Rapidly quenched microwires with a nominal composition of Fe 39 Co 39 Si 8 B 14 (#A O ), Fe 37 Co 37 Nb 4 Si 8 B 14 (#A N ) and Fe 36 Co 36 Nb 4 Cr 2 Si 8 B 14 (#A NC ) have been investigated. Devitrification of as-quenched microwires showed that crystallization temperatures increased with simultaneous incorporation of Nb and Cr as in #A ...

Optimization of process parameters for developing FeCoSiB amorphous microwires through in-rotating-water quenching technique

Applied Physics A, 2012
The effects of process parameters for the in-rotating-water quenching technique have been investigated with respect to structural, magnetic and giant magneto-impedance (GMI) properties of FeCoSiB alloy microwires. Continuous and ductile amorphous wires have been found with the optimization of process parameters.
