Plasma‐Treated Hydrogel for Combined RONS and Chemotherapy Delivery: A Proof‐of‐Concept In Ovo

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores plasma‐treated hydrogels (PTH) as a new way to deliver both reactive oxygen and nitrogen species and chemotherapy (Doxorubicin) directly to tumors. In ovo tests show effects after a single dose, especially in osteosarcoma tumors. Tumor weight decrease, and a resistance‐related protein is reduced.

A preliminary study of fecundity of whiting, Merlangius merlangus euxinus (Linnaeus, 1758) in coast of Tirebolu (Eastern Black Sea)

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Agriculture: Food Science and Technology, 2018
In this research, a preliminary study was carried out in January and February 2014 to determine the fecundity of the whiting species in Tirebolu, Eastern Black Sea. After the total length (cm) and weight (0.01 g) of the 70 fish specimens were measured in

Decoding the Structure of Benzodithiophene Polymers for High‐Efficiency Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique solid mesophase in top‐performing benzodithiophene‐based polymers for solar cells, comprising stacked solid‐like and liquid‐like layers. Combining nanoscale fibrillar domains with amorphous regions, it introduces a new structural paradigm.

Fecundity, body size and population dynamics of Chrysomya albiceps (Wiedemann, 1819) (Diptera: Calliphoridae)

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Biology
In this study, the seasonal variation of fecundity, wing and tibia length were investigated in natural populations of Chrysomya albiceps (Wiedemann, 1819) in an attempt to determine the changes in life history of the species as a function of seasonality.

Reproductive biology of blue marlin (Makaira nigricans) in the western Pacific Ocean [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The reproductive biology of blue marlin (Makaira nigricans) was assessed from 1001 fish (ranging from 121 to 275 cm in eye-to-fork length; EFL) caught by Taiwanese offshore longliners in the western Pacific Ocean from September 2000 to December ...

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

The House of Fecundity

open access: yesThe Iowa Review, 1981
After my girl's first gerbils die, the tumors sprouting like purple broccoli on their stomachs, after she gets the new gerbils and we hang over their cage, watching them rub their dark hairy faces with their miniscule hands, after my boy gets his first mice and they fight, one going for the other's belly, throat, jaws, horrible squeaks cracking the air,

Influence of Hysteresis on Magnetocaloric Performance at Cryogenic Temperatures: A Tb3Ni Case Study

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The existence of an inverse magnetocaloric effect in metamagnetic materials at cryogenic temperatures is investigated using multiple methods. Contrary to predictions from magnetization data, neither specific heat nor pulsed‐field measurements show such a cooling effect, instead indicating irreversible heating.

FECUNDITY OF RAINBOW TROUT

open access: yesAnkara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Dergisi, 1983
This study has been conducted to find out fecundity of rainbow trout raised at Gip Research station of Fisheries School, Firat University. Thirty four fully matured female trouts of three and lour years of age were used. Estimates of ova were made both volumetrically, gravimetrically and by actual count.
