Solvent‐Free Manufacturing of Multifunctional Gas Diffusion Electrode Architectures for Enhanced CO2 Conversion From Low‐Concentration Streams

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A tandem gas diffusion electrode (GDE) leveraging hierarchically engineered microgranules enables efficient CO2 electroreduction under dilute CO2 conditions. A key innovation lies in the solvent‐free precision assembly of metal–organic‐frameworks, carbon nanotubes, and copper nanoparticles.

Economic consequences of EU-unapproved GM maize in US soy : estimates for the period October 2009 to March 2010 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In June 2009 minute traces of GM maize events not yet authorised in the EU were discovered in US soybean and soybean meal consignments. This could result a problem in the period from October to March, because then the EU imports most soy products from ...

3D‐Printed Hygroscopic Polymer Networks for High‐Humidity Triboelectric Nanogenerators to Wirelessly Power Implantable Electronic Devices‐ A Conceptual Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work develops 3D‐printable tribopolymer networks that can enhance triboelectric performance under high humidity environments. Polar hydrophilic functional groups and incorporation of zwitterionic monomers promote bound‐water–dominated interfacial polarization thereby increasing electrical outputs.

Estimation of Commodity Specific Production Costs Using German Farm Accountancy Data [PDF]

open access: yes
A central problem in estimating per unit costs of production originates from the fact that most farms produce multiple outputs and standard farm-accounting data are only available at the whole-farm level. The seemingly unrelated regression (SUR) approach
