Sensory feedback for supernumerary limbs
Supernumerary robotic limbs (SL) are devices developed to increase human capability. For this to happen, SLs should assist users with minimal cognitive effort and be controlled both independently and in combination with the user’s natural limbs. Despite the development of many SL, their application is limited by a lack of easy-to-use and intuitive ...

Objective Knee osteoarthritis (OA) commonly affects individuals with type 2 diabetes (T2DM) and is associated with increased risk of diabetes‐related complications. To better understand potential mechanisms, we examined the association between symptomatic knee OA and glycemic control in individuals with T2DM.

Objective To support high‐quality, patient‐centered care for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) developed evidence‐based measures incorporating clinical and patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs). Using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), we conducted semistructured interviews ...

On sensory feedback in hand prostheses.
Amputation of the hand implies the loss of the ability to grasp and the ability to "feel". The grasping function can be primitively restored using an active prosthesis. Multiarticulating electrically powered hands have recently made their way to the market and these hands provide enhanced grasping and gripping capabilities.
