Static Output Feedback Stabilization
TENCON 2006 - 2006 IEEE Region 10 Conference, 2006This paper presents a new approach to the problem of stabilizing linear systems by static output feedback. It is shown that the problem is solvable if and only if a simple cost function has a negative value. A direct correspondence is established between a stabilizing feedback gain and a point at which the value of the cost function is negative.

Stabilization of feedback amplifiers
Electrical Engineering, 1960A MPLIFIERS and other dynamic systems can be classified as stable or unstable depending on the nature of their transient response. The stabilization problem for a feedback amplifier arises in the first place because of the presence of one or more of the roots of the characteristic equation in the right half of the complex frequency plane. It is useful,

Feedback Amplifiers and Stability
1988Feedback is the combining of a portion of the output signal of an amplifier with the input signal. Negative feedback is the process of coupling the output with the input such that it cancels some of the input signal. The advantages to be gained by using negative feedback are as follows: (a) An increase in the input resistance, depending on the ...
