Broadband Coaxial Rotary Joint With Simple Substrate Integrated Waveguide Feeder

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper presents a broadband coaxial rotary joint with simple single-layer substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) feeder. The annular slot etched on the surface of SIW can effectively convert TE10 mode in the rectangle SIW into the rotational symmetric ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Anchor-LS-Aided Voltage-Sensitivity Estimation and Voltage-Constrained Droop Allocation for VPP-Based Frequency Regulation

open access: yesEnergies
This paper proposes a voltage-sensitivity estimation and droop-allocation framework for virtual power plant (VPP)-based frequency regulation in partially observable distribution feeders.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Fly-by Transit: A Novel Door-to-Door Shared Mobility With Minimal Stops

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems
This paper introduces fly-by transit (FBT), a novel mobility system that employs modular mini-electric vehicles (mini-EVs) to provide door-to-door shared mobility with minimal stops.

Erythropoietin modulates hepatic inflammation, glucose homeostasis, and soluble epoxide hydrolase and epoxides in high‐fat diet‐induced obese mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Miniaturized low-profile filtering omnidirectional antenna design

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong
A miniaturized omnidirectional microstrip filter antenna is designed. The antenna is composed of a bandpass filter and a microstrip antenna, which share a ground plane to reduce the size and are connected by gap coupling. The bandpass filter is etched at

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Symmetrical linear antennas driven by two-wire lines [PDF]

open access: yesSerbian Journal of Electrical Engineering, 2003
A new theoretical approach to the problem of the symmetrical linear antenna driven by a two-wire line is presented. Then symmetrical linear antenna and the feeder line are treated as a unique boundary-value problem leading to a system of two simultaneous
