Strategic construction of fluorinated surroundings in NIR‐II‐emissive organic semiconducting agents for amplifying cancer phototheranostics

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
The development of conventional phototheranostic nanomedicines suffers from an intrinsic trade‐off between NIR‐II fluorescence emission and phototherapeutic effects, leading to poor overall efficacy. Herein, we propose an innovative fluorination strategy by constructing fluorinated surroundings in NIR‐II‐emissive organic semiconducting agents to ...

External Validation of Pre‐Treatment Primary Tumor Volume as a Prognostic Factor in Head and Neck Cancer Treated With (Chemo)Radiotherapy

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Primary tumor volume (GTVp) is a key prognostic factor in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) treated with radiotherapy. We aimed to externally validate this association and assess its relevance in other head and neck sites.

Ginseng polysaccharides prevent mastitis through Lactobacillus murinus‐derived deoxycholic acid and TGR5 signaling

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
Prebiotic Ginseng polysaccharides (GP) alleviate mastitis through selective enrichment of gut L. murinus, which elevates its anti‐inflammatory metabolite deoxycholic acid (DCA). Circulating DCA engages mammary epithelial TGR5 receptors, triggering the cAMP–PKA pathway to suppress NF‐κB/NLRP3‐mediated inflammation.

Potent monoclonal antibodies against multidrug‐resistant hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
A novel immunization strategy using a low‐virulence, multidrug‐resistant strain yields synergistic monoclonal antibodies against hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae. These antibodies provide cross‐serotype protection through a dual‐mechanism of pathogen clearance and immunomodulation, offering a promising non‐antibiotic therapeutic for resistant ...
