Harnessing Cation–Anion Synergistic Effect for High‐Performance Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Guanidine (CH6N3+) cations preferentially adsorb on the Zinc (Zn) anode surface, generating an electrostatic shielding effect to promote uniform Zn2+ deposition. Meanwhile, SO42– anions participate in constructing the solid electrolyte interface (SEI) on the Zn anode, forming a robust protective layer.
